FixCreate the angle first: shift your hips out to the side so the leg crosses the neck.
Leaving the trapped arm on its own side of the body.
Why it failsThe arm props the choke open and they can stack and pass.
FixPull their wrist across your body before you lock, so their shoulder compresses the far side of the neck.
Grabbing your own ankle to lock the triangle.
Why it failsThe lock slips as soon as they posture, and your leg loses the angle.
